Here are some matches that could end up as the Wrestlemania 37 main event.
6) Randy Orton vs Edge for the WWE Championship
I have to include Randy Orton vs Edge on my list. This is a match that is currently rumored to take place at Wrestlemania 37.
Edge will likely be returning from injury in early 2021, which would allow him to set up a feud with Orton for Wrestlemania 37. It was clearly noted by Edge (before he left WWE television) that he is not finished with Orton, so this is a feud that will likely continue.
The added wrinkle is that the WWE Championship could be involved. There is a rumor that Drew McIntyre will be dropping the belt soon to Orton. If that is the case, Edge vs Orton at Wrestlemania could have the WWE Title involved.
We will have to wait and see on this one but it could end up as the main event (if it has the belt involved).
5) Sasha Banks vs Bayley for the Smackdown Women’s Championship
Another match that I have to include on this list is Sasha Banks vs Bayley for the Smackdown Women’s Championship.
Bayley recently turned on Sasha, ending their friendship. WWE is now setting up a big match between them. The question is, when will that match actually happen?
There are some fans who think that it will take place at Hell in a Cell. There are also some fans who think that Sasha will eventually win the Royal Rumble match and face Bayley at Wrestlemania 37. We will have to wait and see what WWE decides to do.
If they can stretch this feud out until Wrestlemania 37, I think that it has a chance to be the main event. Both Sasha and Bayley are at the top of their games right now and many fans are looking forward to their eventual match.
