1) Sheamus
The person who I think has the best chance to walk out with the Intercontinental Championship is Sheamus. Here are some of the reasons why:
— Sheamus has been built up strongly over the past several weeks. It seems like WWE is going to be pushing him as one of their top heels on the blue brand moving forward. Giving him a dominant reign as Intercontinental Champion would make sense.
— The only belt that Sheamus has not won in WWE is the Intercontinental Championship. If he wins it, he will officially complete the ‘WWE Grand Slam’.
— Sheamus is currently feuding with Jeff Hardy. It seems more likely to me that Sheamus (the heel) will win the belt and Jeff (the babyface) will chase him over the next few months. That is usually what WWE likes to do in these situations.
Sheamus is my current pick to walk out with the belt but we will have to wait and see. As you can see, WWE has some great options.
