As of writing this, Bray Wyatt does not have a match scheduled for Clash of Champions. I wanted to put together a list of Superstars who I could see him facing at the event.
5) Bray Wyatt vs Chad Gable
A route that WWE could go would be for Bray Wyatt to face off against Chad Gable at Clash of Champions.
Gable has advanced to the second round of the King of the Ring tournament. It would be pretty easy to have Wyatt either cost Gable his tournament match or attack him after he loses to Andrade.
This would set up Chad Gable vs ‘The Fiend” at Clash of Champions. Due to his size, Gable would be a great underdog to feud against Bray. He can showcase that even though he is short, he isn’t afraid of anything.
Wyatt would definitely win the match but it could make for a solid match at the PPV. I am always down for Gable getting more television time so this could be a decent way to go.
4) Bray Wyatt vs Apollo Crews
Another interesting match for Bray Wyatt at Clash of Champions would be against Apollo Crews.
This might sound random at first glance but I think it would make sense. Crews has not had a great run on the WWE main roster so far. He always impresses in the ring but he hasn’t been able to find his character. Crews is still known as a guy who does cool moves but that is really it.
In my opinion, it might be the best option to write Apollo off WWE television for a while. Maybe send him back to NXT to try and develop a new character or have him work on things at the WWE Performance Center. I am a fan of Crews but something needs to change with him.
A great way to write Crews off would be to have him face ‘The Fiend’ at Clash of Champions. Bray would win the match and Crews could take some time off to figure things out.
