2) Dean Joins Smackdown, Attacks Samoa Joe
The man responsible for injuring Dean was Samoa Joe. This came in a backstage segment on RAW where Joe rammed a cart into the elbow of Dean. News broke after RAW that Dean would need surgery and would miss several months.
From a storyline perspective, it would make sense for Dean to want to get some retribution on Samoa Joe. Now that Joe is on Smackdown, maybe Dean follows him over to the blue brand and attacks him. I think a Dean and Joe feud could be really great.
I am not sure if WWE would want him on the blue brand but it could be fun to see a Joe and Dean feud this Summer.
1) Dean Turns Heel
It was rumored that Dean Ambrose would be turning on Seth Rollins at some point last year. This would have led to Seth vs a Heel Dean at Wrestlemania 34. This obviously didn’t happen after the injury to Dean.
Still, I could see WWE going this direction when Dean comes back. Maybe Dean is upset that Seth replaced him as a partner with Jason Jordan? He turns heel and we get a lengthy Rollins-Ambrose feud this Summer.
With Dean as a heel, we also could see heel Dean vs Roman Reigns. This is a match that has never been done and I think it has a lot of potential. Dean turning heel would be my personal choice if I was booking.
