1) Bring Back Competition Between Brands
Another thing that WWE needs to do when Smackdown moves over to FOX is for them to bring back the competition between brands.
I want it to feel like there is a legitimate competition between RAW and Smackdown for who will put on the best show each week. With the rosters split, each side will have its own unique group of Superstars. Hopefully, each locker room will try to outdo the other one on a weekly basis. WWE should even offer a bonus to the brand that does the best throughout the year. A feeling of the brands trying to outdo one another will only help improve the weekly product.
WWE could even add NXT to the mix now that they are moved to the USA Network. Push RAW, Smackdown, and NXT as separate brands and generate some internal competition to put out the best product possible. All three brands will likely improve because of this.
This will also make Survivor Series mean that much more each year. If there is a legitimate competition between the brands, fans would be invested in RAW vs Smackdown matches again. Right now, brand vs brand matches don’t mean anything because of the ‘Wild Card Rule’.
