5 Things That Should Happen On RAW, Smackdown & NXT This Week

3) Dakota Kai Should Win The Second-Chance Gauntlet Match On NXT

WWE has confirmed a second-chance gauntlet match for NXT this week. It will be Dakota Kai vs Xia Li vs Shotzi Blackheart vs Kayden Carter vs Aliyah vs Deonna Purrazzo. The winner will earn a spot in the ladder match on the April 8th edition of NXT.

I think that Dakota Kai should win this match. This would really put her over as a strong heel and I think she could use the win after losing a few matches over the past month. It would also make sense so Kai can continue her storyline with Tegan Nox in the ladder match.

With the win, Kai would join Io Shirai, Candice LeRae, Tegan Nox, Mia Yim, and Chelsea Green in the ladder match.

2) WWE Should Find An Intriguing Way To Write Roman Reigns Out Of Wrestlemania 36

The major rumor going around is that Roman Reigns did not wrestle at Wrestlemania 36. This is because he was concerned with still wrestling during the coronavirus pandemic. As a result, Goldberg vs Reigns is not happening at the event on Sunday night.

If this is true, WWE needs to find an intriguing way to write Roman off from Wrestlemania. They should maybe do some sort of mystery storyline where Reigns gets attacked and can’t compete on Sunday. The reason why I say that is because it would give Roman a new storyline for after Wrestlemania 36. That way, Reigns could feud with his attacker in the upcoming months on Smackdown.

Or, they should use this moment to build up someone like Braun Strowman. Have him take out Roman Reigns with a vicious assault backstage. Braun would then replace him in the Universal Title match at Wrestlemania 36. This would plant the seeds for Braun vs Roman at Summerslam or Wrestlemania 37 for the Universal Title.

My point is that WWE should try to find an interesting way to write Roman off. It will be lame if they just say that Roman is out of the event and don’t give an explanation.
