I have put together some storyline ideas that WWE could be planning for this Summer.
5) Bray Wyatt Terrorizes The WWE Roster
WWE has been doing a great job at building up Bray Wyatt’s new character so far. His ‘Firefly Fun House’ videos have been incredibly well received and it has also been fun to see his puppets show up in various backstage segments.
An interesting storyline that I think WWE could go with this Summer is Bray Wyatt terrorizing the entire roster. For example, someone like Finn Balor is being interviewed backstage and the lights turn off. When the lights turn back on, the interviewer has gone missing. Or, a WWE Superstar tries to go into the locker room after their match and the lights keep turning on and off.
The goal here is to build up Bray as a creepy character. I want him to terrorize the roster, keeping the creepy stuff going before we actually see him wrestle.
It appears as if WWE might be teasing this already. Over the past few episodes of WWE TV, Bray’s puppets have been randomly appearing in the background of segments. I am interested to see where they go next with him.
4) Sasha Banks Returns & Feuds With Either Bayley Or Becky Lynch
Sasha Banks has been out of action since Wrestlemania 35. There are some rumors that she recently met with Vince McMahon, so maybe she will be returning to WWE television soon?
WWE could easily have Sasha Banks make her return after Extreme Rules to set up a big feud for the Summer. She could feud with either Bayley or Becky Lynch for their respective Women’s Championship. Both of those feuds would be money.
To really spice things up, WWE could even turn Sasha heel. Heel Sasha vs Bayley or Heel Sasha vs Becky Lynch would be great matches for Summerslam this year.
If WWE gets things sorted out with Sasha, there are some fun storyline options they can explore this Summer.
