Here are some potential reasons on why WWE went with the storyline suspension of Becky Lynch.
5) To Make Sure That Becky Doesn’t Get Hurt Before Wrestlemania
There is no doubt that Becky Lynch is on fire right now. She is receiving probably the loudest crowd reaction in all of WWE. It has been a while since a WWE Star has had as much momentum as Becky does right now.
A potential reason why WWE went with the suspension storyline for Becky is to make sure that she doesn’t get hurt. She won the Royal Rumble match, so she doesn’t need to earn her spot at Wrestlemania 35. As a result, WWE might think it’s smart to go with the injury/ suspension angle until Wrestlemania.
This would allow Becky to go into Wrestlemania 35 at full strength. If Ronda vs Becky is going to be the main event of Wrestlemania, WWE is going to want them both at their best. Becky’s injury/ suspension gives her a reason to miss shows and work a lighter schedule before her big match.
4) To Give Becky Some Time To Heal Before Wrestlemania
As fans, we never really know how banged up our favorite Superstars are. This could be a case of Becky being more hurt than she is letting on.
Maybe Becky has been dealing with some nagging injuries over the past several weeks? The suspension could be a way to let her heal whatever is bothering her before Wrestlemania.
Like I mentioned before, this would allow Becky to go into Wrestlemania 35 at full strength. The goal would be to protect Becky before her big match.
