I was one of the people who wanted to see Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey face off in a singles match at Wrestlemania 35. Now that Charlotte Flair is entering the mix, we wanted to try and stay positive. Here are some reasons why a triple threat for the RAW Women’s Championship could end up being a positive thing.
5) The Last Triple Threat Match Involving Charlotte Flair And Becky Lynch Was Awesome
The last triple threat match that Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair worked together in was at TLC. They were involved in a match with Asuka for the Smackdown Women’s Championship. This ended up being a really good match.
Becky and Charlotte have some awesome chemistry with one another. Whenever they are in the ring together, they seem to bring the best out of each other. I am certain that this won’t be any different at Wrestlemania 35. Ronda Rousey has also proven to be a damn good wrestler herself. There is no doubt in my mind that she will be able to put on a great performance with both Becky and Charlotte.
I know that a lot of fans wanted a singles match but I think that the triple threat will still be really good.
4) Becky & Charlotte Will BOTH Get The Rub From Working With Ronda
Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair seem like they are going to be WWE-lifers. It is unclear on the other hand, if Ronda Rousey’s WWE career will last for more than a year.
A positive of this situation is that Charlotte and Becky will both get the rub of working with Ronda and being in the main event of Wrestlemania 35. If Ronda is leaving WWE after Wrestlemania, they still have Charlotte and Becky on television each week. Both will have been in the main event storyline of Wrestlemania, which will do wonders for their careers moving forward.
If Ronda is only in WWE for the short-term, it makes sense for the company to give the rub to both Charlotte and Becky. It helps build two mega-stars, instead of only one. That could do wonders for the WWE Women’s division in the grand scheme of things.
