3) Shane McMahon Gets In Trouble By Vince McMahon For Putting His Hands On A WWE Referee
Another interesting way that WWE could go with this storyline would be for Shane McMahon to get a taste of his own medicine.
Owens was fined $100,000 by Shane for putting his hands on a WWE official a few weeks ago. On Smackdown this past week, Shane attacked Owens, who was technically a WWE official.
Vince McMahon could come out and scold Shane for putting his hands on a WWE official. This could be an interesting twist in the storyline, with Shane potentially getting in trouble from his Dad. Maybe this is the way that WWE gets Shane out of his authority position on Smackdown? They could get rid of Shane as a weekly character and start fresh for when Smackdown moves over to FOX.
This is something random that I thought of that could be fun.
2) Kevin Owens Takes A Page Out Of Stone Cold Steve Austin’s Playbook
Kevin Owens recently adopted the Stunner as his finishing move. The next step of this storyline could be Owens taking a page out of Stone Cold Steve Austin’s playbook.
If you were a fan of WWE back in the ‘Attitude Era’, you likely remember Stone Cold getting fired or suspended several times by Vince McMahon. This almost always led to Stone Cold doing something wild in order to get his job back.
Maybe WWE books Owens like Stone Cold here? They could have Owens take Shane hostage or something in order to get his job back. This could make sense if WWE is trying to turn Owens into the modern-day Steve Austin.
