3) Shayna Baszler, Jessamyn Duke, and Marina Shafir vs Dakota Kai, Tegan Nox, and Candice LeRae vs Rhea Ripley, Bianca Belair, and Io Shirai
— 3 On 3 On 3 WarGames Match
Finn Balor’s heel turn has opened the door for the first-ever Women’s WarGames match to take place. That is because WWE could easily do Balor vs Gargano, Cole vs Ciampa, and Dream vs Strong on this Takeover card. That would leave us needing a WarGames match still.
WWE could do a 3 vs 3 vs 3 WarGames match involving the Women’s division. The match that I have seen brought up by fans the most is the following: Shayna Baszler, Jessamyn Duke, and Marina Shafir vs Dakota Kai, Tegan Nox, and Candice LeRae vs Rhea Ripley, Bianca Belair, and Io Shirai.
The team of Shirai, Ripley, and Belair doesn’t really make sense based on the current storyline. Still, there is time on NXT television to build towards them teaming together at the event. This is definitely an option in my mind and could be fun.
2) Asuka, Kairi Sane, Io Shirai, and Bianca Belair vs Dakota Kai, Tegan Nox, Candice LeRae, and Mia Yim
— 4 On 4 WarGames Match
Another option for the first-ever Women’s WarGames match would be a 4 on 4 battle. This would be Asuka, Kairi Sane, Io Shirai, and Bianca Belair vs Dakota Kai, Tegan Nox, Candice LeRae, and Mia Yim.
In this scenario, Shayna Baszler would face off against Rhea Ripley for the NXT Women’s Championship at the event. The other ladies that I mentioned above would get to take part in the WarGames match. Based on how strong the NXT Women’s division is right now, two matches on the Takeover card could make sense.
This would be a fun match. It would be great to see Asuka, Kairi Sane, and Io Shirai on the same team. It would also give this match some additional star power if they included Asuka and Kairi. They could also replace Mia Yim with a Superstar from the WWE main roster if they wanted to get a bigger name involved.
This seems like another good option for WWE and I would like to see it happen.
