3) The O.C Takes Away From AJ Styles vs Aleister Black
I think that most of us can agree that AJ Styles vs Aleister Black is a dream match. This has a ton of potential and I could easily see them stealing the show.
My only issue is that this is a no disqualification match, which means that Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson will likely play a big role. I think that it would be a mistake for Anderson and Gallows to play too much of a role in this match, so it takes away from Styles vs Black. Let those guys do their thing with minimal interference. They don’t have to ban them from ringside but I think that it would be a mistake for them to interfere too much.
We might never get another Aleister Black vs AJ Styles match on PPV, so I hope that they are given a chance to tear down the house. The less interference, the better. It could be a match of the year contender if they are given a proper chance.
2) Aleister Black Loses To AJ Styles
Staying with the match between AJ Styles and Aleister Black, I also think that it would be a mistake for Black to lose to Styles. Black lost to Styles on RAW but he was heavily protected since he had already beaten Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson. This is a loss that did not hurt Black at all. I think that Black losing to Styles again at the Elimination Chamber would hurt him a bit.
WWE has done a great job at building up Aleister Black over the past several months. They have protected him well and I could definitely see him challenging for the WWE Championship after Wrestlemania 36. I don’t think that WWE should hurt his momentum by having him take a loss to Styles here.
I would have The Undertaker’s music hit near the end of the match, which would distract Styles. This would lead to Black picking up the win. This protects Black and keeps the feud going between Styles and The Undertaker. That seems like a win-win for everybody. It also limits any interference until the very end, which means they would have tons of time to do their thing.
I just think that it would be a mistake for Black to lose again. They have done a great job at protecting him and they don’t want to take away from that.
