5 Mistakes That WWE Needs To Avoid Making At Summerslam 2019

Mistake #3) Having Trish Stratus Defeat Charlotte Flair

I know that a lot of people dislike Charlotte Flair as she has been given a lot by WWE management in her career. I am also sure that some of you are rolling your eyes at the thought of Charlotte beating Trish Stratus, especially in her hometown. While saying that, this is one of those scenarios where I think that it makes sense for Charlotte to win.

What would Trish beating Charlotte accomplish here long-term? Sure, it would be a nice pop for the Canadian crowd at Summerslam but that is about it. On the other hand, Charlotte would have bragging rights moving forward if she beats Trish. She could use it in promos and continue to put herself and the current WWE Women’s division over by saying that they are better than the legends of the past.

Fans always complain about WWE relying on legends from the past instead of making new stars. This is a case where it makes sense to give the younger talent the win, in my opinion at least.

Mistake #2) Rushing Into Daniel Bryan vs Roman Reigns

WWE has been doing a solid job so far with this mystery storyline involving Roman Reigns. They haven’t been rushing things, which has been really enjoyable.

I think that it would be a mistake for WWE to throw Roman Reigns vs Daniel Bryan on the Summerslam card at the last moment. That is a feud that I think deserves a longer storyline build, instead of being a last-minute addition to Summerslam.

I would do either Roman vs Rowan or Samoa Joe and Roman vs Bryan and Rowan at Summerslam. I think that it would be a mistake for WWE to rush into Bryan vs Roman, just for the sake of getting it on the card. This is a feud that will be money for the next few months and they shouldn’t rush into things.
