5 Mistakes That WWE Needs To Avoid At Extreme Rules 2019

Mistake #3: The Mixed Tag Team Match Does Not Have A Clean Finish

The event will feature a mixed tag team (extreme rules) match. It will be Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch vs Baron Corbin and Lacey Evans.

It would be a mistake for this match to not end clean. I am sick of the feud between Seth and Baron. Also, I am sick of the feud between Becky and Lacey. I think that both need to end definitively at Extreme Rules.

Let’s have Becky and Seth win, which will allow them to move on to new feuds heading into Summerslam. If I have to see Seth vs Baron at Summerslam, I will not be happy.

I know that Becky has teased that they will be moving on but you never know with WWE. It would be a mistake to extend both of these feuds longer than Extreme Rules.

Mistake #2: Someone Other Than Shane McMahon Takes The Pin

The event will feature a ‘no holds barred’, tag team match. It will be Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre vs Roman Reigns and the Undertaker.

My guess is that Roman and the Deadman will be winning here, so that leaves either Shane or Drew to take the pin. I think that from a booking perspective, Shane needs to take the pin here.

In my opinion, WWE needs to build up Drew McIntyre as a monster. He deserves more than just being Shane’s lackey. There is no reason to protect Shane over Drew in this match, in my opinion at least.

Also, Shane taking the pin could help set up Drew vs the Undertaker at Summerslam, which is a match that I would like to see.
