3) Braun Strowman
I have to mention Braun Strowman here as a potential candidate. Braun would make sense if we take Vince’s words literally. Strowman would fit the mold of the ‘biggest’ acquisition in SmackDown LIVE history.
Braun seems like a strong candidate to move over to Smackdown Live anyways. He recently started a feud with Samoa Joe, so it seems logical for Braun to switch brands to keep the feud going.
I think there is a small chance that Vince is talking about Braun here. This could be a way to try and get Strowman back into the main event spotlight.
2) Roman Reigns
A name that instantly came to mind when thinking about candidates was Roman Reigns.
With AJ Styles moving over to RAW, Smackdown is going to need a big name in return. A lot of fans are speculating that Roman could end up being the guy going the other way. It would make sense since WWE will likely want to separate Roman and Seth Rollins.
Roman would definitely fit the criteria for the ‘biggest acquisition in Smackdown Live history’. There is no denying that Reigns is a star and he would definitely make sense in this spot.
I think that Roman is a top candidate to move over to Smackdown Live.
