Job Before Becoming A Wrestler: New England Patriots/ Los Angeles Lakers Cheerleader

Before joining WWE, Carmella had a successful career as a cheerleader for a few high-profile professional sports teams.

“The company has also signed Leah Van Dale, a former New England Patriots and Los Angeles Lakers cheerleader”

She is also a certified fitness instructor.


17) Big Cass

Job Before Becoming A Wrestler: Ticket Broker

Big Cass played college basketball at New York University, where he was a pre-med student.  He eventually dropped out of the medical program and studied economics.

After school, he founded his own ticket brokerage in New York. From a WWE.com article:

“He later went on to start his own ticket brokerage company specializing in events at Yankee Stadium and Madison Square Garden”

Cass would eventually train to become a wrestler and the rest is history.


18) Enzo Amore

Job Before Becoming A Wrestler: Piano Mover

Before becoming the realest guy in the room, Enzo held a number of different jobs. One of the most intriguing jobs he held before becoming a wrestler was moving Pianos.

On an appearance on the Steve Austin Show podcast, Enzo says that he had a brief stint moving Pianos. He even says that he and his crew once dropped a piano owned by Alicia Keys down a flight of stairs.

He eventually got a tryout with WWE through Joe DeFranco, who trains Triple H.


19) Sin Cara

Job Before Becoming A Wrestler: Worked In A Funeral Home

Before wrestling under a mask, Sin Cara worked for his families funeral home in Mexico.

From an interview with WhatsUpPub:

“For us, it was normal. We used to play hide and seek inside the caskets. It was one of those things that for us was natural because we grew up around it”

20) Summer Rae

Job Before Becoming A Wrestler: Lingerie Football Player

Before her WWE career, Summer Rae played in the Lingerie Football League. She was a member of the Chicago Bliss for three seasons.

From an interview with Bleacher Report after she retired:

“I’m so proud of the team the last couple of years and it’s gonna be very hard to not play next year.  Football has been a huge part of my life the past three years.”

Being a big WWE fan, she eventually got signed by the company in 2011.
