The 2025 edition of Backlash will take place on May 10th in St. Louis. These are my 2025 WWE Backlash predictions where I try and predict the match and who will win.

WWE Backlash Predictions 2025
Seth Rollins vs CM Punk
There are rumors that Roman Reigns could be taking some time off after Wrestlemania 41. If that is the case, I could see us getting CM Punk vs Seth Rollins in a singles match at this event.
Seems like a good way to end their feud against one another, once and for all.
Rey Fenix vs Chad Gable
I could see Rey Fenix facing off against Chad Gable at this event. This comes after El Grande Americano cheated to beat Fenix at Wrestlemania 41.
This time, I expect Rey to win.
Becky Lynch vs Lyra Valkyria
I am going to predict a match between Becky Lynch and Lyra Valkyria for this event. This will be for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship.
This comes after Becky attacked Lyra on the RAW After Wrestlemania.
Naomi vs Bianca Belair vs Jade Cargill
Based on the current storyline, it seems like we are heading towards a future triple threat match between Naomi, Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill.
This would make sense based on the current storyline. It would also be a fun match.
This would also plant the seeds for a future Bianca vs Jade singles match. Maybe at Summerslam or Wrestlemania 42?
Iyo Sky vs Rhea Ripley
We never got a rematch between Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley after Iyo won the title. So I think it would make sense for this to happen at this next PPV.
I am not going to turn down another Iyo vs Rhea match. I am sure a lot of other fans feel the same way.
Randy Orton vs John Cena
Randy Orton is from St. Louis, so I am going to predict that Orton will play a big role in this event.
I am going to predict that we get something like Randy Orton vs John Cena for the title. This is dependent on Cena winning the title at Wrestlemania 41.
Orton won’t win the title here but would be cool to see him in the mix.
