2016 WWE FASTLANE REVIEW

The first, and most consistent word I keep hearing when talking about WWE Fastlane is PREDICTABLE. It  was way too obvious that Roman Reigns was going to win from the very start. I am not just talking about the main event being predictable either, I am talking about the whole show. If you read my Fastlane predictions, you would know that I only got one match wrong (One wrong was the Wyatt Family for some reason LOSING to Kane, Ryback and the Big Show). Also, I predicted that Ambrose would soak the pin, keeping Lesnar looking strong. I am not saying this to toot my own horn, I am saying this because I know I wasn’t the only one who picked the winners, it was just that predictable.

Reigns gets the win leading into WrestleMania against Triple H for the WWE Heavyweight Championship. I actually don’t mind it, even though it was obvious. They have built a story between these two for the past couple months and WrestleMania will prove to be the blow-off for their feud, just as WrestleMania should do. The problem I have is the booking of Roman. Reigns gets hit by a chair, after Brock Lesnar almost breaks his arm, and still manages to get right back up to spear Dean for the win. Just a horribly booked finish that makes everyone look bad. Understandable why fans are so upset;

Match of the night for me was AJ Styles vs Chris Jericho. I really enjoyed it and they both put on a show. Good first feud for Styles in the WWE and can’t wait to see more from him (Maybe even a title match against Kevin Owens?).

I also really enjoyed Owens vs Ziggler. I think both guys put on a great match.

Wyatt Family losing to Ryback, Big Show and Kane makes no sense heading into WrestleMania, especially if they have big plans for them.

Was also really let down by the Edge and Christian segment, thought we were going to see a debut or something important happen… Just a commercial for their show.
