15 Things That We Learned From RAW (October 2, 2017)

1) WWE Had A Moment Of Silence For The Victims Of The Las Vegas Tragedy

This week’s episode of Monday Night RAW kicked off with a tribute to the victims of the Las Vegas mass shooting. For those that somehow missed it, there was a shooting in Vegas early on Monday morning that left over 50 dead and 500 injured.

The entire RAW roster came out to the ramp for a moment of silence. This even included backstage personnel like Vince and Shane McMahon.

2) It Was Weird Not Hearing Michael Cole

This week’s episode of RAW featured a major absence on the commentary booth. Michael Cole missed RAW in order to be in attendance of his son’s wedding.

This was only the second RAW that Cole has missed in 20 years. A pretty impressive feat. He was replaced by Tom Phillips for the night:

3) WWE Is Building Braun Strowman Back Up Strong After His Loss To Brock Lesnar

RAW this week kicked off with the match between Braun Strowman and Seth Rollins. This was made last week after Braun defeated Dean Ambrose.

Seth worked his tail off but it wasn’t enough against the ‘Monster Among Men’. Strowman won the match and beat down both Seth & Dean after the match. Looks like WWE is building Strowman back up strong after his loss (clean) to Brock Lesnar at No Mercy. That marks two dominant wins against Rollins and Ambrose.
