10) The New RAW & Smackdown Factions Are NOT Connected
Based on the way they both made their debuts, there was some speculation among fans that the new Smackdown faction of Ruby Riott, Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan were in someway connected to Paige’s new faction.
With the ‘Riott Squad’ name, we can put this theory to rest.

11) ‘The Riott Squad’ Had A Decent Debut Match
Smackdown Live featured a 6-Woman Tag Team match. Ruby Riott, Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan faced off against Charlotte Flair, Natalya and Naomi. This comes after the backstage attack that happened last week. Natalya walked away from the match early, turning it into a 3 on 2. Naomi was taken out by the trio outside of the ring. Charlotte was eventually overwhelmed, giving the new faction the victory.
It was a decent match. Going to give them some more time before I really judge the new group.

12) The Ascension…. Died
Smackdown Live this week featured a special edition of the Fashion Files. This time it was related to the ‘Saw’ series. Tyler Breeze, Fandango and the Ascension were trapped in a room.
Only Breeze and Fandango were able to escape before the poison gas got them. Looks like the Ascension are now dead?
