Step 7) Samoa Joe Attacks Dominick, Which Leads To Him Retaining The United States Title
Samoa Joe will be facing Rey Mysterio for the United States Championship. My guess is that Dominick is going to be involved in this match in some way. This has been teased on RAW for the past few weeks.
I would have Dominick stand at ringside for the match. After Joe and Mysterio wrestle a solid match, I would have Joe attack Dominick on the outside of the ring. This would send Mysterio into a fit of rage as he would naturally be pissed after his son just got attacked. While pissed, Mysterio will make a mistake and will get caught by Joe in his submission.
I think that this would be a smart way to go. Mysterio lets his emotions get the better of him, which allows Joe to retain. It also sets up Mysterio winning the Title at the next PPV.
Step 8) Kofi Kingston vs Kevin Owens End In Disqualification Or Countout
To me, it feels too early for Kofi Kingston to drop the WWE Championship. It also seems too early for this feud to be over. As a result, I am predicting a screwy finish here.
I say this one ends in countout or disqualification. This allows the feud to extend into the PPV next month in Saudi Arabia.
It also protects Kofi and Owens from taking a clean loss here.
Step 9) Braun Strowman Takes Out Drew McIntyre, Sami Zayn, and Baron Corbin
One of the marquee matches of the night will be the Men’s Money in the Bank ladder match. I actually don’t think it is going to main event this year. My guess is that it takes place as one of the final matches of the night but doesn’t go on last.
It would make a ton of sense for Braun Strowman to show up during the ladder match. He was attacked by Corbin and McIntyre on RAW, which cost him his spot in the match to Sami Zayn. As a result, Strowman seems like a lock for some sort of appearance here to get some revenge.
My guess is that Strowman takes out Corbin, McIntyre, and Zayn during the match. If McIntyre isn’t going to win the briefcase, this seems like an easy way to protect him.
