1) Dolph Ziggler Vs. Baron Corbin…or so we thought
SmackDown LIVE kicks off with the returning Show OFF, Dolph Ziggler! His opponent tonight was supposed to be the Lone Wolf, Baron Corbin, with an opportunity to advance to the WWE Championship match at FastLane.
But Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens took matters into their own hands. A 2 on 1 ambush of Corbin backstage, the new “festival of friendship” focused their attention on Ziggler, cornering him in the ring and attacking him. Sami & KO walked away with a grin as they looked at the carnage left behind.
Soooo KO & Sami are faces right? I mean they prevented us from seeing Ziggler vs Corbin for the 700th time #SDLive

2) Charlotte continues to dismantle the Riott Squad.
One down, Two to go. Charlotte Flair is riding the confidence train all the way to the bank. The Smackdown Women’s Champion takes on Sarah Logan of the Riott Squad. Outnumbered, Charlotte decided not to travel alone. Even with Becky Lynch and Naomi at ringside providing backup, Logan had the champ on the ropes for sure.
But after a devastating Natural Selection, The Queen overcame the odds and walked away with another victory. Props to Sarah Logan; incredible talent and definitely has a bright future. This rivalry is far from over.
Born in the woods. Raised in the mountains. @sarahloganwwe probably smells fantastic. #SDLive

3) Shane takes care of business.
Shane McMahon was not pleased with what we saw at the beginning of the night. The Co-GM of SmackDown decides to make two matches. Dolph Ziggler would take on Sami Zayn & Baron Corbin would face off against Kevin Owens.
If Baron & Dolph both win their respective matches, they are officially qualified for the WWE Title match at FastLane ! #LayTheSmackDownShane #FatalFourWay or #FatalFiveWay ?
so @shanemcmahon takes 4 guys that attacked each other and makes them have separate singles matches and ban interference during those matches? he’s like the anti-Teddy Long#SDLive #WWE

4) Baron Corbin Is In The WWE Title Match At Fastlane
Corbin came into this match less than 100%. Corey Graves made a good point at stating that Corbin has squandered many opportunities to reach the next level in WWE. This was his chance to prove something. KO wasted no time punishing the Lone Wolf. Side note: loads of Rusev Day chants during this match ( totally ok with it ).
The match was back and forth but Baron capitalized & finished Owens off with the End of Days ! It is now a Fatal Four Way for the title at FastLane.
… and that makes FOUR. Will @HEELZiggler join them?#WWEFastlane #SDLive @BaronCorbinWWE @SamiZayn @AJStylesOrg @FightOwensFight pic.twitter.com/vTuna8F5pD

5) Bobby Roode issues the US Title Open Challenge.
Roode was meant for this title. He’s the workhorse this championship needs. Not to mention, no one will ever get bored with his entrance. EVER. As far as tonight, Roode paid homage to John Cena and looked to honor his legacy of offering this challenge every week.
Ask and you shall receive Bobby. Randy Orton accepted the US Title Open Challenge. But someone else decided to intervene.
The #USOpenChallenge is answered by the “The Viper” @RandyOrton! This could be interesting. Orton has got to be the biggest threat to Roode so far. Orton could very well take the title here. #WWE #SDLive

6) Jinder Mahal is a bad, bad man.
You can’t hinder Jinder. The Modern Day Maharaja decided to toss in his two cents about this challenge. But Bobby wasn’t having it, not from Jinder, and not from Randy either. Orton decided to make his presence felt with an RKO on one of the Singh Brothers. All hell broke loose after that.
Jinder was left standing tall over both men. Definitely interesting to see if this turns into a triple threat for the title at FastLane.
this us title open challenge match has been….
….hindered. #SDLive pic.twitter.com/Lz9k35MfJ8
