We thought that we would take a positive approach when looking at the future of WWE television in 2019. We have compiled a list of things that we are excited for on either RAW or Smackdown in the New Year.
11) There Will Likely Be Less Repetitive Feuds
It appears as if WWE has now gotten rid of the automatic rematch clause for Champions. If a Champion loses their belt, they are no longer guaranteed an automatic rematch.
Most of the time, the former Champion loses their automatic rematch. As a result, the matches are pretty predictable.
This should keep things really fresh in 2019. Instead of being forced to do the contractual rematch, WWE can move on to new feuds after a big title change.
10) There Will Likely Be A Handful Of Big NXT Call-Ups Before The Year Is Over
There is no denying that NXT is currently stacked with talent. Even after 6 talents were recently called up, WWE’s developmental brand is still loaded.
Something to be excited for is some of the call-ups that will likely be coming in 2019. That will likely include Johnny Gargano, Tommaso Ciampa, Velveteen Dream, Aleister Black, Shayna Baszler, the Undisputed Era and more.
All of the names listed above seem to be ready for the main roster. My guess is that most, if not all of them, make their way to the main roster in 2019.
9) The Four Horsewomen vs Four Horsewomen Feud Should Be Awesome
With Ronda Rousey having some beef with both Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair, it seems like things are heating up in the potential Four Horsewomen feud.
I am not sure if we are going to get the Four Horsewomen vs Four Horsewomen
I think that we will see Shayna Baszler get called up to RAW in 2019 and join forces with Ronda. This could lead to some fun tag team matches: Ronda and Shayna vs Sasha Banks and Bayley or maybe even Ronda and Shayna vs Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair. This is not even mentioning the various singles matches that could happen between group members.
If the Four Horsewomen vs Four Horsewomen match happens before the end of 2019, that will be the cherry on top.
