1) The Smackdown Live Crowd Booed An Old Lady
This week’s episode of Smackdown Live kicked off with WWE Champion: Jinder Mahal. Since it was India’s Independence Day, fans got to see a special celebration, filled with Bollywood dancers and an old lady singing the national anthem of India.
The crowd booed the heck out of the poor old woman.

Please don’t boo this woman! She isn’t Jinder! She looks so nice! #SDLive

An interesting opening segment (to say the least)
2) Shinsuke Nakamura Stole Aiden English’s Gimmick
Nakamura interrupted the Independence Day celebration of India and cut a promo on Jinder. Nakamura ended his promo by singing a little bit of a tune for fans:
“#SummerSlam will be the day you lose the #WWETitle… TO ME!!!!” – @ShinsukeN to @JinderMahal #SDLive pic.twitter.com/B0Pkw0g9Bv

Aiden English wasn’t pleased about the gimmick infringement:
Very cute @ShinsukeN …albeit a sad attempt at carrying a tune…but cute.
Our paths will cross sooner or later…#ArtistVSArtiste
