Here are some things that I think WWE should do at TLC 2018.
10) The Main Card Should Open With The Smackdown Tag Team Championship Match
The smart booking philosophy is usually to kick off an event with a strong match. This makes sense, as it gets the crowd into the show right away.
I think that one of the best matches to do that would be the Smackdown Tag Team Title match. The Bar will be defending their belts against The New Day and the Usos. I think this could be a really fun opening match. The Usos and the New Day have great chemistry. I am sure that they will also gel nicely with the Bar.
I think that this could be a smart way to kick off the main card. Start off the show with a bang!
9) Ronda Rousey Should Defeat Nia Jax (Clean)
Nothing against Nia Jax but I think that the correct decision would be for Ronda Rousey to win clean on Sunday, ending their feud.
I think that WWE should start building to a potential match between Ronda and either Charlotte Flair or Becky Lynch at the Royal Rumble. As a result, I think Ronda’s feud with Nia should end at TLC or over the next few weeks on RAW.
I don’t think a loss really hurts Nia here. She could easily be built back up over the next few weeks with a couple of squash wins. There is no chance Nia wins the Title here, so I think Ronda should win clean and move on.
8) R-Truth And Carmella Should Win The MMC Finals
The finals of the Mixed Match Challenge will be taking place at TLC. It will be R-Truth and Carmella vs Jinder Mahal and Alicia Fox. The winning team gets the #30 spots in both Royal Rumble matches.
I think that it should be R-Truth and Carmella. One of the big reasons is that it sets us up for some fun comedy spots at the Royal Rumble. I could see Truth attempting to enter the Women’s Rumble match in the #30 spot. Or, I could see Truth completely forgetting that he was supposed to enter the Men’s Rumble in the #30 spot.
The win would also give Carmella some bragging rights, which she could turn into a storyline over the next several weeks on Smackdown. I say Truth and Carmella would be the better option.
