2) The New Day Are Very Close to Making History
Closing In On Demolition
In the first match of the night, RAW Tag Team Champions, the New Day put their titles on the line against Cesaro and Sheamus. Cesaro and Sheamus were offered the match as a reward for winning the tag team elimination match at Survivor Series.
The New Day announced on their way to the ring that they are only 23 days away from breaking the record of Demolition for longest (single) tag team title reign in history.
Demolition held the belts for 478 days back in the late 1980’s.

The New Day retained their titles this week, getting them one step closer to beating the record. WWE Roadblock is on December 18th, which is a place where they could end up losing the belts.
