8) Storyline Continuation Exists!
Hooray For Long-Term Booking!
Sometimes WWE can be short-sighted with their booking, not caring about the long-term implications. Survivor Series featured a number of great examples of storyline continuation.
It began when James Ellsworth was backstage at the start of the PPV. He ran into Braun Strowman, who asked him: “Don’t I know you”

This was a call back to where Ellsworth started his WWE career. He lost to Strowman in a squash match but won the hearts of fans when he said prior to the match: “Any man with two hands has a fighting chance”.
During the 5 on 5 match between team Smackdown and team RAW, Chris Jericho was in the ring with Dean Ambrose. Jericho yelled “YOU OWE ME $15,000 DOLLARS”. This was a call back to their feud earlier in the year when Ambrose destroyed his jacket:
