Sami Zayn Comes Up Short

Sami Zayn and the Miz squared off for the WWE Intercontinental Championship at Survivor Series. Sami received a very warm welcome in his home country of Canada.

The Miz went after the left leg of Sami for the entire match, putting him in a lot of pain. We saw constant strikes and submissions from the Miz towards that injured leg of Zayn.

Maryse rang the bell before the match was over, providing the distraction for the Miz to get the roll up win.

Sami put on a fantastic showing but was robbed in the end. It is unclear if he will get another chance considering him and the Miz are on separate brands.
