8) Paul London:
You might remember Paul London from his time in WWE from 2003-2008. It appears that he is not the biggest fan of Triple H and has a lot of negative things to say about him from various interviews since leaving the company.
During an interview with The Two Man Power Trip of Wrestling, London unloaded on Triple H after he helped Kevin Owens win the WWE Universal Title on RAW.
Here is what London said:
“The thing that really kind of disgusts me is Kevin Steen (Owens) who is one of my favorite people in the world and it really disgusts me is to see Triple H with his phony, fat smile draping all over Kevin Steen and saying that I believed in this guy all along. You know the body-builder, “the game” himself, Mr. Arnold Classic, Mr. Shredded is now super endorsing this non body-builder and who is kind of the anti-pro wrestler if you think about it (and from an attitude standpoint Kevin is amazing) but from that ideal WWE body that they valued and cherished for decades, he doesn’t fit the mold and I love that about him because cookie-cutter is boring” (Source: WrestlingInc).
He continued:
“But I just think that this Hunter feigning over him is bullsh*t. It is just that, I think it is bullish*t. I think Hunter just does that to keep himself relevant at these new guys expense. It is almost like he is trying to give himself a rub off of these guys and it disgusts me” (Source: WrestlingInc).

7) Ricardo Rodriguez
Ricardo Rodriguez is best known for being the personal ring announcer of Alberto Del Rio in WWE. In a shoot interview, he gave us an insight into what life is like backstage for wrestlers with Triple H in charge.
He says that if you are not one of Triple H’s ‘toys’, you are pushed to the side like you don’t matter.
“If you’re not one of his little projects or his little toys…you don’t matter. I saw the transition between Vince’s regime and then Hunter’s regime. We all saw it coming…or Laurinaitis (whatever)…we saw like how the older guys that had been there before just got pushed back: Sheamus, Wade Barrett, del Rio – and granted, most of us were Laurinaitis’ boys, we were his projects, we were his hires” (Source: RF Video).
He continued:
“At that time we were the last of the people that, if we had issues, we would speak about it. We would speak up. We would stand up for ourselves. If we had money issues, we would go, ‘hey dude, what the ****?’ Now, if you speak up, it’s ‘oh you’re complaining? OK, you’re off house shows’. If you’re not one of his little toys, you don’t really matter” (Source: RF Video).
Not as harsh as some others we have seen but fascinating insight into what WWE is like backstage under Triple H. Interesting to think about guys who didn’t come from NXT and how they might be treated differently by Triple H.
