Step 8: The Miz vs AJ Styles for the WWE Championship at Fastlane (or Elimination Chamber)
The PPV prior to Wrestlemania 35 hasn’t been confirmed yet. I am guessing that it will be either Fastlane or Elimination Chamber. Whatever it is, I am guessing that we get AJ Styles vs the Miz for the WWE Championship.
This would be Styles’ rematch from when he lost the Title at the Rumble. I like this match because it would get fans’ hopes up for a potential match between AJ Styles and Daniel Bryan for the WWE Championship at Wrestlemania 35 (if Styles were to win).
The Miz will end up ripping our hearts out though and will retain the Title. He will be walking into Wrestlemania 35 as Champion.
Result: The Miz retains.
Step 9) The Miz Does Everything Possible To Keep Bryan From Competing At Wrestlemania
With the Miz vs Daniel Bryan now set for Wrestlemania 35, I think the weeks leading into the event would be fun. They should have the Miz doing everything in his power to make sure that Daniel Bryan can’t make it to Wrestlemania.
This could include random beat downs or the Miz paying off bigger guys to wrestle Bryan on Smackdown. The goal is to try and wear down Bryan and make us think that Bryan vs Miz might not happen. Daniel Bryan thrives in these types of storylines, where he is chasing and is the underdog. I think it would be fun.
Result: Regardless of what the Miz throws at Bryan, the match is still on for Wrestlemania 35.
Step 10: Daniel Bryan vs the Miz for the WWE Championship at Wrestlemania 35
The match that we have all been waiting for. The Miz vs Daniel Bryan for the WWE Championship at Wrestlemania. I think the storyline that I have laid out is solid and would generate a lot of interest heading into the match.
In this scenario, we would see a classic match between them on the biggest stage. Daniel Bryan would finally defeat the Miz to win the WWE Championship. Another great Wrestlemania moment for Bryan’s career.
Result: Daniel Bryan wins the WWE Championship
