Several weeks ago, WWE introduced a new mysterious faction. The group is calling themselves ‘Retribution’ and they are bringing chaos to WWE television. Here are some of the top Superstars who I think have a chance to be revealed as the leader of this new group.
5) Triple H
An idea that I had was for Triple H to be revealed as the leader of ‘Retribution’. This faction would include several Superstars from NXT, who want to shake up how things are done on the WWE main roster.
This could be a long-term storyline where Triple H attempts to take control of WWE from Vince McMahon. Triple H could argue that Vince is out of touch and he could also bring up the declining ratings to give it that worked-shoot feel.
Triple H attempting to take over control of WWE is a storyline that I have wanted to see for a while now. This could be a great direction for WWE to go.
4) Mustafa Ali
Another idea for the leader of this new faction is Mustafa Ali. This is because there were plenty of similarities between what has happened on RAW and the ‘Hacker’ storyline that was dropped by WWE a few months ago. This includes the power cutting out and more.
Ali was rumored to be the original ‘Hacker’, so he seems like he has some of the best odds of being revealed as the leader of this new group.
Ali is someone who is super talented and I would like to see him get a chance to lead a faction like this. I could definitely buy him as someone who wants to change the structure of WWE. He could also use several young or underutilized Superstars from NXT to do his bidding for him.
